Championship Round off to a good
start for Crew 96
|
|
On Saturday, May 17th Crew 96 played their first
game of the Championship round against Placer Gold
at Del Oro. The level of intensity was extreme, both
on the field and on the sidelines as every Crew
player gave it their all in a tough fought contest
that resulted in a 2-1 Crew ’96 victory. This marks
the second time that Crew 96 has beaten the two time
state champions Placer Gold. Crew 96 is one of two
teams that have beaten Placer Gold and the only team
to defeat Placer Gold twice in Northern California.
The next two games Crew 96 plays will be against
Mustang FC and Santa Cruz County Breakers White on
June 7th at Ponderosa High School at 10:30 and 3:30
respectively. Come on out and cheer for another
EDUCC team that is exciting to watch and be proud
of! |
