Meeting called to order at 7:21PM at the library at Green Valley School.

 

The minutes from the last meeting were reviewed and approved. Change in Manager report as follows: Funds will either be taken from field fund or added registration fee.

 

 

TREASURER – Not present

MANAGER’S REPORT:   Just came back from the League meeting coaching coordinator idea is dead at the league level.   4 tryouts you can go anywhere you want to recruit.  At the first tryout a Players can be made an offer to be a part of a team.  The offer can not be recended and the player has until the last tryout to accept or reject if they do not accept the offer by the last tryout the offer is void.  Once a player registered for a team you are only allowed 3 transfers.    The club will have to develop a letter that is to be used by all coaches.  League is suggesting hitting Select teams.  This is going to be and interesting season for the Open BoundaReis.  There is nothing in the rules that is discouraging offers or incentives to players.  The coaching coordinator position is dead because when there programs are over in 3 months the position is over.   Out of 7 clubs only 2 were positive. 

REGISTRAR- Nothing to report

GIRL’S V.P. - WINTER V.P. -    News for the League meeting was vague because of the AGM    U13 girls advanced the first round and then lost in the next round.

Boy’s V.P.   -   U12 Boys are on to the ¼ finals of State Cup.

REFEREE COORDINATOR-

FIELD COORDINATOR –   Couple of teams going right now and he has the bill.   The lights must be sent back by the 24th to be charged for only 1 month Tom:   The church up the street would like to build a soccer field and they would like to make it available to us for practice. 

TEAM REPORTS- 

OLD BUSINESS:    

 

NEW BUSINESS-   U15 girls will be practicing again starting March 1, on Saturday’s at 3:00.  The U12 boys need lights for the ¼ finals.   Brooks is an alternative for lighting then Pat will let the board know if the boy’s go on.  Ray wanted the names and numbers of the coaches for the other teams.  

 

Dave coached the U16 girls team, he is unable to coach and is looking for a volunteer coach for the State Cup weekend.  22nd  and  23rd of March.
