Meeting called to order at 7:15 PM at the library at Green Valley School.

TREASURER – Not present

MANAGER’S REPORT: League meeting was held early this month. Make sure that everyone has a person present at the AGM Sunday February 2, 2003. Open boundaReis is one of the topics. Brian Frazier will have any other the changes. CYSA will only allow one representative per team. The first member present will be the only one to vote. League liked the idea of the Coaching coordinator position filled before the AGM. Funds will either be taken from field fund or added registration fee.

REGISTRAR- Nothing to report

GIRL’S V.P. - WINTER V.P. - Issues developed some of the teams not be able to field a team for State Cup. The U14 girls are having issues and have to make the decision before Friday. They must withdraw before the brackets are made.

Boy’s V.P. - U12 Boys and U13 Girls made it through the first round of State Cup

REFEREE COORDINATOR- No games no problems new possible Referee Coordinator was here last night.

FIELD COORDINATOR – New field schedule’s are out. They have asked us to not use the fields at Brooks and move the U13G and U12B to Christa.

TEAM REPORTS-

OLD BUSINESS: The coaching coordinator will be able to do all the coaching clinics for F-ED. Practice schedules, individual coaching classes. The concentration of the coaching coordinator will be on the select and recreational clubs. Concerns about the coach coordinator position were brought up by Art. Art will attend the special league meeting and get a hold of Brian to voice his opinion.

NEW BUSINESS- Ponderosa gave Henry the green light to take care of the fields. Ann asked for clarification of scrip. Chris’s opinion on the issue of Scrip is “any money given back to a player or member will jeopardize the leagues IRS non-profit status. Unless there is a clear document lending the money to a member or player no money can be refunded.” The money can be given to another non-profit organization. Kyle wanted some opinions on what to do with the older girls and practicing. There will be a meeting on Wednesday February 19 with El Dorado CSD at 6:30 pm at CSD in the Pavilion meeting room.

Try-out dates are tentatively set and we will discuss what happens for the older age groups going to State Cup.

We need to set up registration with individual teams or make an early registration date. Tom will ask the playing league about when registration will be held.
