Meeting
called to order at 7:19 PM at the library at Green Valley School.
The
minutes from the last meeting were reviewed and approved.
·
The
monthly treasurer report was given.
MANAGER’S REPORT:
· League meeting
· The registration fee is going to go up to $18.90. It is currently $17.50. Since $18.90 is such an odd number to figure, it is proposed that the fee be raised to an even $19.00.
· There are several open positions if anyone is interested.
· Discussed having a 3v3 EDYSL soccer event. An outside company would organize it. This is still under discussion. If you have input or ideas, please e-mail Brian Frazier.
· League is finalizing their financial information for the new upcoming season.
· CYSA is proposing a change to the number of players on the field for the younger age groups. This will be brought up again at the next AGM.
· The club has received a lot of good feedback on the advertising that we have done – brochure, flyers and such.
·
Attended
the district registrars meeting on last Tuesday. There is a new registration form. Also, all coaches for all levels will have to fill out a new
coaching registration form. There will
be a question regarding conviction of a felony. If the answer is yes, there will be a specific process that will
be followed. At this time, the exact
process is still under discussion.
·
Each
team will need to be sure to fill out the correct forms for this coming season.
·
Inter-player
releases are going to be scrutinized thoroughly.
·
Nothing

GIRL’S V.P.
·

WINTER V.P.
·
Nothing

BOY’s V.P.
·
Tryouts are keeping everyone busy. The only age group lacking sufficient
players is U14 Boys at this point.
·
Playing
season is over, but if anyone knows a qualified referee, please notify
Chris.
·
No
red cards to report.
·
Girls
tryouts have been running well. We will
definitely have a girls U10 team this year.
·
The
older teams are still utilizing Brooks field.
Other sports playing there are very cooperative in sharing the field.
·
Henry
will be meeting with Ponderosa about ensuring the usage of the fields that we
pay for.
·
Helen
asked for status on the final bill from Cameron Park CSD. Henry will follow up again with CSD.
·
The
board will be having a separate meeting to discuss the girls U11 team. At the last U11 girls tryout, several girls
attended who would like to play for their former parent coach. The board will be discussing the best
scenario for the players and still try to abide by the club rule of no parent
coaches.
·
Anna
Hahn brought up the possibility of using Script as a means for a team and/or
club fundraiser. She will investigate
more and provide additional information.
·
Henry
reported that the uniform would cost $127.00.
It will be the same Diadora uniform used as last year. The cost breaks out as:
·
$35
jersey each for two
·
$20
shorts
·
$20
2 pair of socks
·
$8
for numbers/logo
·
$9.00
tax

Locker will attend the pre-registration night and also have other items for
sale such as sweats, bags, balls, and shin guards.
·
Each
team will be supplied with two game balls.
·
All
meetings will now be held at the library at Green Valley School on the third
Monday of the month.
·
Registration
night will be finalized and be held at the gymnasium of Green Valley School.
Meeting
adjourned at 8:00.
