MANAGERS REPORT:
Brian asked for a volunteer to attend the playing league meeting on Tuesday the 26th. It will be held at Arco arena in the press lounge. Elaine will go unless someone else volunteers.
Brian passed around two soccer balls priced at 11.50 and 15.00 Boca brand. Brian indicated that some teams used these balls for practice and they held up fine. See Brian if interested.
Brian indicated that a rep has approached him from PUMA that would like to sponsor our club for next year. This sponsorship would provide either discounts on uniforms, sweats, balls and shoes. Since we just bought new uniforms, it would probably not be something we would do next year. But if they gave us a great deal, we might consider it.
Dennis attended the EDYSL League meeting in Tahoe. There was nothing in particular to report.
Brian did not attend the playing league last month, but did review the minutes. He indicated that they are continuing to work on the sideline policy. If anyone has suggestions on sideline policy let Brian know. There is mixed consensus. Do we need another policy there are so many already. Discussed having all parents on one sideline and coaches and players on another. This would be a policy that needs to be enforced as a district, not just club by club. It was brought up that ODP and State Cup follow this policy. The downside of this policy is that a coach loses control of parents, whereas if they are behind him/her, then they are better able to control them. The other side of this is that it is easier for the referees to identify the source of the offender if they are on the other side of the field.
Brian brought up the topic of Referee assigners pay. The fee structure was reviewed for everyone as $500.00 for the fall league and $50.00 per team in the winter league. Elaine motioned to pay Dennis $500 for fall league and $50.00 per team for winter. The motion was seconded and all agreed.
BOYs V.P.
Suzanne asked to have the web page updated for both the coaches and board of director links. Sondel also is requesting each teams home page URL so that she can update the team links.
Suzanne indicated that no one has called her with problems, so no news is good news.
GIRLS V.P.
No news at all cause no one knows Pat! Need to get the web page updated with Pats contact information.
WINTER V.P.

REFEREE COORDINATOR
Dennis reported that there are Referee classes July and August. Sierra Gold holding one in the 3rd and 4th week of July. El Dorado Hills will host entry level class on 30th July, August 1st, and August 6th and 7th. Must be 12 years old or 7th grade to attend.
Discussed teams entry into Cal Cup. 3 4 teams submitted.
Discussed team entry into Sonoma State 6 a side. About 3 4 teams submitted.
REGISTRAR
In Marys absence, Dennis indicated that the computer program is about all cleaned up and that it has gone pretty well.
TOURNAMENT
Tournament meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 20th.
COACHING COORDINATOR
Shawn brought up the situation with the goals on Christa. They must be placed back in their place by the fence, face to face, off the grass. If the goals are not situated in this way, then they will be locked up with a key and we will be unable to use them. Also, we are not supposed to practice in the goal area to save the grass. And we are not to be on the field before 3:30.
Coaching contracts were given to the coaches over a month now. They should have been reviewed with each team manager and signed by both coach and team manager. Alan, Jeremy and Tonys have been received, but that is all. The remaining coaches need to return to Shawn ASAP. Coaches checks have been mailed for the month of June, but Julys check will be withheld until each contract is returned.
Shawn reported that he has reviewed a couple of teams so far and discussed practice techniques with these coaches. He also attended the goalkeeping practice and he is very pleased with the technique. He is asking that Zeca start taking role next month. Due to the larger turnout during the first hour, he is thinking about having the 13s and above to be at 6:30 and the younger group at the 5:30 session. Need to get schedule on the website also.
Shawn asked about field transition in July once we lose access to Christa. This will also affect the Monday night goalkeeping training. Janice is absent. Brian seeing we can extend our time on Christa. After first two weeks we will be at Bass Lake. All teams at Christa will be moved to Bass Lake. There is a concern that there is already some teams may already be a Bass Lake and there will not be enough
Shawn asked for a contact list for team managers and Suzanne presented the list to Shawn.
Shawn sent info to all coaches with E/D licenses that there will be a D course at Sonoma Stat on August 1st 5th. All coaches have to get another license before next season if they are not at level C.
OLD BUSINESS
The open position of Winter VP was brought up again. Both Chris Konwinski and Lance Maguire were interested in this position. But the field coordinator position is also available. Chris volunteered to be the Winter VP. Suzanne brought the motion to the floor to elect Chris as winter VP. It was seconded and agreed by all.
NEW BUSINESS
Suzanne brought in a white jersey and showed everyone how the plastic number on the back did not match the royal blue color of the shorts. It looked like Navy. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done for the uniforms that have already been numbered.
The question was asked if there is going to be some team training that is covered by the monthly dues. This was discussed a month or two ago in reference to setting up a Friday night clinic open to Comp or Select. But this needs to be organized to be successful. Potentially could use Christa on Friday evenings. Its a good idea, but needs coordination. Fields are the biggest issue.
Meeting adjourned at approximately 8:50.
